This is an update to yesterday's post regarding the generic B250 mining motherboards sold on ebay and having difficulties finding a bios update. After some more research I believe I found the manufacturer responsible for these boards. I'm still trying to track down an up to date bios if any1 knows anything.Īccording to a site called miningheaven.ca, these boards are manufactured by a company called HGYCPP under their listing "HGYCPP B250 BTC Mining Motherboard 12 PCI-E Support 12 Video Card LGA 1151 DDR4 Memory USB3.0 for BTC Machine Bitcoin Mining". I've also messaged a few ebay sellers to see if they can get in contact with the manufacturer.įor some additional information, I just received another 1 of these today and here is the information from the bios (to reiterate my other systems are remote so I couldnt check it) I've attempted to back up the bios to see if maybe I can grab a more up to date bios from a different board however the universal bios backup utility 2.0 wasn't able to do it. Lastly, Mods, it looks like you took down yesterday's post without notification or explanation? Um, why? I dont think any rules were broken and if they were please tell me which rule was broken. I'm trying to track down some pretty important info that I've seen lots of other people have trouble with so I dont understand why you would remove this.įinal Update : I dont feel a new thread is warranted so I'm posting a final update here for anybody else who encounters this issue and wishes to investigate past where I've researched.
